Serious Games Limited ("we", "us", "our") operates mobile and web applications including Plus One and related products. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data we collect

• Account information — name, email address, age, and any profile details you choose to provide (such as a bio or photo)

• Usage data — pages or screens viewed, features used, and interactions within the app

• Device information — device type, operating system version, and anonymous crash/error reports

• Location (city-level only) — used to show relevant local events; we do not collect precise GPS coordinates

• Communications — messages sent between matched users within the app

We do not collect payment card details. Any payments are processed by third-party providers subject to their own privacy policies.

2. How we use your data

• To provide and personalise the service (matching, event recommendations, messaging)

• To send important service notifications (matches, account updates)

• To improve performance and fix bugs using anonymised analytics

• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data sharing

We share data only with:

• Service providers who help operate our infrastructure (hosting, authentication, analytics) under strict data processing agreements

• Other users only to the extent necessary to deliver the service (e.g. your display name and profile are shown to a match)

• Law enforcement if required by applicable law

4. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us (see Section 7). Deleted accounts are removed within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed credentials, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your rights

UK/EU users may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or their local supervisory authority.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
